Kaatru Veli
A feature shot across three districts of central Tamil Nadu, on a fully in-house crew.
Kaatru Veli is the first full-length feature produced entirely within the group — written, shot, cut and graded by the Kattuputhur unit without a single outsourced department. The brief was to prove that a district-based crew could carry a theatrical-grade production end to end.
The release strategy leaned on the network rather than on paid media: a 40-day runway of behind-the-scenes cutdowns across Time Pass and Cinema drove awareness at roughly a tenth of the equivalent media spend.
